NOTE: Bedrooms 4 & 5 are in a wing accessed via a corridor with a separate door, so are ideal for children and a nanny or teenagers.
All five bedrooms have air conditioning, hairdryers and a small ‘book’ safe for valuables.
Kitchen & Living Area
The heart of Halara is the very large open plan living space with antique teracotta tiles floors and an airy double height ceiling. There is comfortable seating around a smart TV and a beautiful corner fireplace. The well equipped kitchen has a built in hob and oven in a large island unit, a large sink and two large fridge freezers.
There is a back kitchen and a separate utility area with a further oven, two dishwashers and a washing machine.
Indoor seating is provided around a dining table for cooler nights, and tucked away is a small desk area. French doors lead out to the loggia and views of the sea.
Loggia, Terraces & Grounds
Most gatherings at Halara take place in the shaded loggia (accessed from the living area) which has large built in sofas, a huge dining table and a traditional built in BBQ with spit. The sea view from here is magnificent and the space is hugely versatile for use throughout the day.
A lower terrace with an ancient olive tree in the middle offers yet more choice for dining, with a table that seats 12 under a vine pergola surrounded by a blue plumbago. There is a sofa area here too, as well as an outdoor pizza oven.
