At Villa Halara, sport and serenity come together. The estate’s generous terraces and five acres of olive groves create space to move, play and breathe — always with the sea and sky as a backdrop.
Padel & Outdoor Games
New for 2026, Villa Halara’s private padel court brings a touch of energy to the landscape. Nestled amongst olive trees and overlooking the Ionian hills, it’s perfect for friendly games and family tournaments. The court is full-size, professionally surfaced and floodlit for evening play.
A lower terrace beyond the pool has a boules court which is floodlit for evening games, along with table football.
Adjacent to the house is a separate table tennis area where many a grandparent has beaten an unsuspecting teenager.
Heated Infinity Pool
The infinity pool, with its views over the Ionian Sea to mainland Greece, is 9m x 4.8m and 1.5m deep. It has underwater lighting for night swimming and is heated all year round.
The pool is surrounded by stone walls and is gated for safety, however, young children should be monitored at all times. There is a large terrace with sun loungers and shade is offered by a bamboo covered pergola and mulberry trees. There is a bar area with a sink and fridge.

Hiking & Sea Adventures
From the villa gate, winding lanes lead through olive groves towards the coast, perfect for morning walks or runs.
Boat hire and local excursions can be arranged nearby for those who wish to explore the hidden coves of Zakynthos or the waters across to Kefalonia.
Wellbeing
A real highlight of Halara is the wonderful large shaded pilates / yoga platform with mats provided and stunning 180° views over the sea with The Peleponnese in the distance.
You can arrange massages with Dimitri or fitness sessions with our local instructor, Stavroula who will come to the villa.
